We have a new baby!
He was the only kitten born to Moses in her last litter. We've decided to call him Uno. He's growing so big so fast, I am tempted to start calling him BrUno! His eyes just opened today.

Moses has been a really good Mama to her three kittens. She is very attentive and the kittens are now two weeks and one day old. Their little blue eyes are visible now and they are starting to walk...or should I say wobble. They purr and even nibble on each other's ears. We try to snuggle these little fuzzballs, but they don't like to be too far from their little nest. As soon as they get about 3 inches away from it, they start to cry....loudly...which naturally alerts their very protective mama and she returns dutifully to settle her children. Once all three babies are settled and napping, Moses hops out to live her life for a little bit...and take a little breather.
Curious?
Maybe just a little?
I don't know what it is about cats and glasses of water. What makes them think that our vessels of water are there for them? Every cat I've been a guardian of has always seemed to think that my bevereages are placed about for them. One cat, Samantha, used to dip her paw into the drink, then lick the liquid from her paw. Tom, used to dip his paw into the cup, taste it and then dump the entire thing over. Now, Just 10 weeks old, Moses tries to stick his head into my water bottle to drink my water. He had a bowl of water on the floor JUST for him, but evidently, that wasn't good enough. He staked his claim on my water, too.
